Meetings

The Full Council meets once a month on Tuesdays at 7.30pm, in accordance with its timetable of meetings. Meetings take place in the Council Chamber on the first floor of the Memorial Hall.

If you wish to attend a meeting but are unable to use the stairs, please contact the Clerk and arrangements can be made to hold the meeting in the Memorial Hall itself.

Town Council meetings are preceded in each case with a meeting of the Planning Committee.

The Council has the following Committees:

At each meeting there is time set aside for public questions. The time allocated is at the discretion of the Council or Committee Chairman. Residents are invited to give their views and question the Town Council or Committee on issues on the agenda, or raise issues for future consideration although members of the public may not take part in the Town Council meeting or a Committee meeting itself.

If you do not wish to attend a meeting but there is an issue that you would like to bring to the attention of the Council, you can email or write to the Clerk (click here for contact details).
