The Full Council meets once a month on Tuesdays at 7.30pm, in accordance with its timetable of meetings. Due to the coronavirus restrictions, the council is unable to meet in the Council Chamber at the Memorial Hall, its usual home, and all meetings are taking place using video-conferencing software.

If you would like to join a virtual meeting, to either ask a question, or just to watch or listen, please contact the Town Council office and we will let you know the link to the meeting. You will need to download the (free) software in advance to your computer, tablet or phone, and this can be found at https://zoom.us/download

We ask that all attendees make themselves visible by turning on their video at the start of the meeting. Please keep your microphone switched off during the meeting, other than at Public Questions, when you may ask questions of the council if you wish.

If you do not have digital access, you can still take part by phone. Contact the Town Council office and we will let you know the phone numbers available and the meeting ID. At the time of the meeting, you would dial in, input the ID and will then be able to hear all the meeting participants and they will be able to hear you.

The Council has the following Committees:

At each meeting there is time set aside for public questions. The time allocated is at the discretion of the Council or Committee Chairman. Residents are invited to give their views and question the Town Council or Committee on issues on the agenda, or raise issues for future consideration although members of the public may not take part in the Town Council meeting itself.

If you do not wish to attend a meeting but there is an issue that you would like to bring to the attention of the Council, you can email or write to the Clerk (click here for contact details).
