Standard Bearer – Remembrance Sunday 8th November 2026 and Armistice Day Wednesday 11th November 2026.
Upton upon Severn Town Council are seeking a respectful and reliable Standard Bearer.
Responsibilities are to lead the Remembrance Sunday parade and carry out other duties on the day. As well as attending Armistice Day for a short wreath-laying and flag-raising ceremony outside the Memorial Hall.
Union flag, a leather carrying sling and white gauntlets parade gloves are provided.
This is a voluntary role.
This is a very important role in supporting Upton upon Severn honour and remember the armed forces members who have died in the line of duty.
